RESOLUTION NO. 11623
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida finds that it is for the best interest for the resi-
dents and citizens of said City that the City purchase a 60
foot Aluminum Garland Christmas Trees all as more particularly
described in the Agreement hereinafter referred to. Said trees
to comprise a part of the decoration of the Lincoln Road Mall
for the Christmas season at a total purchase price of
$8, 500.00, and
WHEREAS an Agreement prepared by Southeastern Display
Company, Inc. , for the sale and the installation, removal and
storage of said Christmas Trees has been duly submitted to the
City Council, and the City Council being familiar with the
terms and provisions set forth therein, and the said Agreement
being duly approved as to form by the City Attorney,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said Agreement for and in behalf of the City of Miami Beach, and
that the financial officers be and they are hereby authorized
and directed to make the disbursements required to be made
thereunder.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1965.
