Resolution 11630 RESOLUTION NO. 11630
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida desires to participate in the Federal "Economic Oppor-
tunity Act of 1964" in conjunction with the University of
Miami, and
WHEREAS an agreement has been prepared for execution by
the University of Miami and the City of Miami Beach for such
participation, the terms of which are familiar to the City
Council, and the City Council deeming it to be in the best
interests of the City and its residents that the City enter
into said Agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said Agreement for and in behalf of the City of Miami Beach,
and that the financial officers be and they are hereby author-
ized and directed to make the disbursements required to be made
thereunder.
