Resolution 11631 RESOLUTION NO. 11631
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, that from October 7, 1965, and henceforth no
corporation, partnership, or individual, or any officer, agent
or employee of said corporation, partnership, or individual
awarded any Contract by the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach for the performance of service relating to publicity or
public relations for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach
shall during the period of such contract, or while the same is
subsisting or extant shall engage in any political activity for
or on behalf of any candidate for any office within the govern-
ment of the City of Miami Beach nor shall such corporation,
partnership or individual, or any officer, agent or employee
thereof shall guide, counsel, advise or otherwise participate
directly or indirectly, with or without compensation, in the
business, or political, monetary, personal, or social affairs,
interests of any Councilman, officer or employee of the City of
Miami Beach, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the conduct herein circumscribed or
prohibited shall be deemed a surrender, abandonment and termina-
tion of any and all contractual relationship and benefits under
such contract with the City of Miami Beach.
