WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WW-141 WW-141
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
WW-141 Both sides of Lincoln Road from West Avenue to
Biscayne Bay to be improved with a Whiteway lighting
system of ornamental posts and lamps approximately
150' apart on each side with underground connections
for lighting.
As said Road, Avenue and Bay are shown on Plats
recordedin Plat Book 4, Page 125 , Plat Book 6 ,
Page 114 and Plat Book 6 , Page 66 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
! the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings , interest during construction, legal services , abstracts ,
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount
to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such improvement is hereby designated as District WW-141 and
is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting
Lincoln Road from West Avenue to Biscayne Bay.
In estimating the amount to be assessed against abutting property
the City Engineer is hereby directed to apportion to the City such
portion of the total cost as shall bear the same ratio to the total
cost as the length of the street intersections bears to the total
street frontage within the district.
The Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-141 , and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District WW-141.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 20th DAY OF October, A.D. 1965.
