Resolution 11647 RESOLUTION NO. 11647
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida that the Florida League of Municipalities be and
it is hereby extended a most cordial invitation to hold its
1970 Convention in the City of Miami Beach, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said League of Municipali-
ties be and it is hereby formally advised that the City of
Miami Beach will spare no effort to cooperate with the said
League to insure the most successful convention in the annals
of the League, and.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida that Walter Crawford, Executive Director
of the Miami Beach Convention Bureau, be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to advise the appropriate officers of
the said League that the City of Miami Beach does hereby bind
and commit itself to be the host at an appropriate luncheon in
suitable surroundings for the said League and its members in
attendance at said convention.
