Resolution 11682-A RESOLUTION NO. 11682A
WHEREAS the St. Francis Hospital of Miami Beach, Florida
has offered to convey to the City of Miami Beach gratuitously
that certain parcel of land located at the southeast corner of
Pine Tree Drive and 63rd Street, and described as Lot 1, Block
2 of Beach View Addition, as recorded in Plat Book 16 at Page
10, and
WHEREAS said offer is a symbolical expression of the cor-
dial relationship and the deep esteem which has existed between
the said Hospital and the citizens and residents of said City
without interruption from the inception of the noble work of
said Hospital;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that said offer of said Hospital
to convey the parcel of land hereinabove referred to be and
the same is hereby accepted, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, for and on behalf of its citizens and residents
does hereby formally express its profound and lasting apprecia-
tion to said St. Francis Hospital, its officers, directors and
administration for conveying said land to said City, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this
Resolution be transmitted to the appropriate officials of St.
Francis Hospital.
