Resolution 11694 RESOLUTION NO. 11694
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has heretofore entered into
an agreement with Red Top Rent-A-Car, Inc. , a Florida corpora-
tion, the Assignor of Deatrick Leasing Corp. , a Florida corpora-
tion, which agreement being dated October 21, 1964 contained,
among other things, the requirement that the 1966 model limousine
automobile to be furnished for the use of the City shall be a
Cadillac make, and
WHEREAS, the said agreement provided for the furnishing of a
current model Cadillac Limousine automobile for the years 1965
and 1966 respectively, and
WHEREAS, the City and Deatrick Leasing Corp. are mutually
desirous of amending the said agreement by extending the term for
one additional year, and
WHEREAS, the City and the said Deatrick Leasing Corp. are
mutually desirous of amending the said agreement so as to furnish
a 1966 model Lincoln Continental Executive Limousine for the use
of the City for the year 1966 and for the year 1967, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an amendment to the
said agreement of October 21, 1964, so as to accomplish the
desired results, with the terms of which amendment the City
Council is familiar,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the said
amendment to the agreement in the name of and on behalf of the
said City.
