Resolution 12260 RESOLUTION NO. 12260
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has heretofore designated holidays for the
employees of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, as follows,
to wit:
New Year's Day
Memorial Day (May 30th)
Fourth of July
Labor Day
Armistice Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found and determined
that the following additional holidays be designated for
the employees of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, to wit:
Washington's Birthday
The Friday immediately following
Thanksgiving Day
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that that
portion of Resolution No. 9200 reading as follows:
"New Year's Day
Memorial Day (May 30th)
Fourth of July
Labor Day
Armistice Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"New Year's Day
Washington's Birthday
Memorial Day (May 30th)
Fourth of July
Labor Day
Armistice Day
Thanksgiving Day
The Friday immediately
following Thanksgiving Day
Christmas"
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of October, 1967.
