Resolution 11695 RESOLUTION NO. 11695
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver
for and in the name of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, a
contract with MISS UNIVERSE, INC. , a California corporation,
and the said City, for the conduct of beauty contests for the
selection of "Miss U. S. A. " and "Miss Universe" in the City of
Miami Beach, Florida during the periods May 12 to May 23, 1966
for "Miss U. S. A. " and July 7 to July 18, 1966 for "Miss
Universe", in either or both the Miami Beach Auditorium and
Miami Beach Exhibition Hall on the same terms and conditions as
set forth in the Agreement entered into by and between the said
parties for the said purposes during the year 1965.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of December, 1965 .
