WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, is considering amending Ordinance No. 289,
commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of City of Miami
Beach, Florida", so as to exclude from the "RD" Multiple
Family District and to include in the "BAAA" Business
District, and to include in such new or appropriate Area
District, that certain parcel of land situate in the City
of Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, described as
follows:
That parcel of land bounded on
the East by the Westerly line of
Washington Avenue; bounded on the
West by a line parallel to Washington
Avenue and 52 feet Westerly thereof;
bounded on the South by the Northerly
line of Lincoln Lane; bounded on the
North by the Southerly line of 17th
Street produced westerly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing
be and the same is hereby called to be held on the 8th day of
November, 1967, at 10: 00 o'clock A. M. in the Council Chambers,
City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of
said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Clerk and
Finance Director be and she is hereby directed to give fifteen
(15) days notice of the time, place and object of said hearing
by public notice thereof, published in the Miami Beach Daily
Sun, a newspaper of general circulation in said City.
