A RESOLUTION PROVIDING AUTHORITY FOR THE SIGNING OF
VOUCHERS DRAWING ON FUNDS IN CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
DEPOSITORIES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That on and after the 5th day of January, 1966, all
withdrawals of funds from the City of Miami Beach
accounts in City Depositories described as follows :
THE MIAMI BEACH FIRST NATIONAL BANK
Accounts designated : "City of Miami Beach"
"City of Miami Beach Parking
Revenue Bond Fund"
"City of Miami Beach Parking
System Operation and Maintenance
Fund"
CITY NATIONAL BANK
Account designated : "City of Miami Beach"
MERCANTILE NATIONAL BANK
Accounts designated: "City of Miami Beach"
"City of Miami Beach Special
Payroll Account (Semi-monthly) "
"City of Miami Beach Special
Payroll Account (Weekly)"

various designations as given above, each bearing two signatures,

By Lurana Pohzehl, as Deputy City Clerk,
countersigned
By 0. M. Pushkin, as City Manager,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By J. C . Duffield, as Assistant City Manager,
or in the absence of both or their inability to act for
any reason
By Ruth B. Rouleau, as Administrative Assistant

With the further provision as to the two accounts carried
in the Miami Beach First National Bank designated City of Miami
Beach, and City of Miami Beach Parking System Operation and
Maintenance Fund respectively, withdrawals from which shall be
on printed checks of the City of Miami Beach, and City of Miami
Beach Parking System Operation and Maintenance Fund, each bear-
ing the facsimile signatures of R. Wm. L. Johnson, as City Clerk,
and 0. M. Pushkin, as City Manager, with the background and other
identifying symbols as imprinted on the sample checks attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
And with the further provision as to the account carried
in the Bank of Miami Beach, designated "City of Miami Beach",
that withdrawals of funds shall be on printed checks of the City
of Miami Beach, each bearing the facsimile signatures of R. Wm.
L. Johnson, as City Clerk, and 0. M. Pushkin, as City Manager,
with the background and other identifying symbols as imprinted
on the sample check attached hereto and made a part hereof.
And with the further provision as to the four accounts
carried in the MERCANTILE NATIONAL BANK OF Miami Beach, desig-
nated "CITY OF MIAMI BEACH SPECIAL PAYROLL ACCOUNT (Semi-
] Monthly) ", CITY OF MIAMI BEACH SPECIAL PAYROLL ACCOUNT (Weekly) ",
"CITY OF MIAMI BEACH FIREMEN'S RELIEF & PENSION FUND" and "CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH PAYROLL ACCOUNT", respectively, withdrawals of
funds from which shall be upon regular City of Miami Beach
checks, designated "City of Miami Beach Special Payroll Account
(Semi-Monthly)", "City of Miami Beach Special Payroll Account
(Weekly)", "City of Miami Beach Firemen 's Relief & Pension
Fund" and "City of Miami Beach Payroll Account", each bearing
two signatures as above set forth, or bearing the signature
consisting of the background and other identifying symbols
and facsimile signatures, as is imprinted on the sample checks
attached hereto and made a part hereof; and the City Clerk is
hereby authorized to use said signature in connection with said
accounts .

SECTION 2: That all withdrawals of funds from that certain City
of Miami Beach account in the MERCANTILE NATIONAL
BANK of Miami Beach, designated "OVERPAYMENT ACCOUNT", shall be
upon regular City of Miami Beach checks, designated "Overpayment
Account and which checks shall have plainly printed across the
face thereof the words "NOT GOOD FOR MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED
DOLLARS", each bearing two signatures, as follows :
By R. Wm. L. Johnson, as City Clerk,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By Lurana Pohzehl, as Deputy City Clerk,
countersigned
By Raymond V. Shea, as Chief Accountant,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By Joseph Brooks, as Deputy City Clerk.
SECTION 3: That said BANK OF MIAMI BEACH, THE MIAMI BEACH FIRST
NATIONAL BANK, CITY NATIONAL BANK, JEFFERSON NATIONAL
BANK OF MIAMI BEACH, and MERCANTILE NATIONAL BANK are hereby
authorized and requested to accept, honor and pay without further
inquiry, and until delivery to it of written notice of the revo-
cation of the authority hereby granted, all checks and other
orders for the payment or withdrawal of money deposited with
said banks in the name of said City of Miami Beach, including
checks drawn to the individual order of the officers signing
same and including also all such instruments payable or endorsed
to the order of the City of Miami Beach, when such checks or
other orders for money shall be signed or endorsed in the name
of the City of Miami Beach by its officers hereinbefore named.
SECTION 4 : That a certified copy hereof be delivered to each
City Depository.
