RESOLUTION NO. 11721
WHEREAS on January 6, 1965 the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach adopted Resolution No. 11356 whereby H.C.N. Corpo-
ration was authorized to impose certain heavy loads on the Park
View Island Bridge in conjunction with the construction of a
high-rise apartment house on Park View Island on condition, how-
ever, that H.C.N. Corporation execute and deliver to the City
of Miami Beach a bond, which bond was duly posted with the City
of Miami Beach in cash, in the sum of $2, 000.00 to protect the
City in the event any damage was caused by such use, and
WHEREAS said construction work has been duly completed,
and
WHEREAS the City Engineer has certified that an inspection
by the Engineering Department indicates that no damage has been
occasioned to said bridge by said use, and
WHEREAS said H.C.N. Corporation has therefore requested
the return of said cash bond, and
WHEREAS the purpose of said bond has therefore been fully
accomplished and H.C.N. Corporation has duly requested the
return of said $2, 000.00 cash bond,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH; FLORIDA that the proper finance
officers of the City of Miami Beach be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to return and deliver the said $2, 000.00
cash bond to the said H.C.N. Corporation forthwith.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of January, 1966.
