Resolution 12274 RESOLUTION NO. 12274 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, with deep sorrow, records the untimely passing of JOHN HYLE; and WHEREAS, JOHN HYLE has served the City of Miami Beach with unswerving loyalty, selfless dedication to duty, and tireless expenditure of mind and spirit, for thirty-three years, in the Engineering Department, in the Police Department, and, for the past four and one-half years, as Manager of the Metered Parking Division of the City; and WHEREAS, seeking always for the means to improve parking conditions in the City, he was active in International and National Parking Congresses; and WHEREAS, his quiet strength, ability and fineness of feeling for his friends and fellow workers, interwoven with personal charm, endeared him to all who knew him; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BYTTI,ECLITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,- FLORIDA, for itself and for each and every member thereof, that this resolution be formal recognition by the City Council of the magnitude of the indebtedness of the City of Miami Beach, its residents and citizens, to the said JOHN HYLE, and that this resolution reflects its and their expression of deep and sincere sympathy to his bereaved widow, MRS. JOHN HYLE. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a certified and formal copy of this resolution be submitted to his said widow, MRS. JOHN HYLE.
