RESOLUTION NO. 11737
WHEREAS, under the Federal Workable Program for
Community Improvement, it is recommended that the City of
Miami Beach should designate an agency responsible for re-
ferring displaced families to the Miami Beach Apartment House
Association and the Miami Beach Realty Board; and
WHEREAS, there is in existance a Citizen ' s Committee
known as the Miami Beach Housing Authority;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said "Housing Ahthor-
ity" is hereby designated as the Agency responsible for referr-
ing displaced families to the Miami Beach Apartment House Associa-
tion and the Miami Beach Realty Board and, further, as families
move from substandard housing the "Housing Authority" shall re-
port the vacated substandard structures to the Chief Building
Inspector for Codes enforcement.
