Resolution 12294 RESOLUTION NO. 12294
WHEREAS, the Board of TJtustees of the Miami Beach
Employees ' Retirement System is considering the renewal
of an agreement with Florida Combined Insurance Agency,
Inc. , on behalf of the Blue Cross-Blue Shield Plan and
American Bankers Life Insurance Company, providing
group hospitalization and life insurance for officers and
employees of the City of Miami Beach, for an additional
period of one year, commencing January 1, 1968, upon the
same terms and conditions as the previous contract, the
City Council having been made familiar with the terms,
conditions and actuarialrates thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is considered to be in the best interest
of the City to renew said contract for said period
upon the said terms and conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that said agreement
for said group hospitalization and life insurance be
renewed for an additional period of one year, commencing
January 1, 1968, and that the said renewal be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of December, 1967 .
