Resolution 12304 r RESOLUTION NO. 12304 WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is considering the acquisition of approximately fourteen (14) acres of United States Public Health nuarantine Station, located on "Fisher' s Island"; and WHEREAS, the City Council of said City deems it to be in the best interest of the City of Miami Beach to acquire said property for public park, recreational facilities, or other related public purposes; and WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has been advised by the General Services Administration that the purchase price to acquire said property is $212,875.00, this figure constituting fifty (50) per cent of the estimated fair value of the property which is $425,750.00, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it does hereby authorize negotiations for the acquisition of said fourteen acres of United States Public Health Ouarantine Station, located on "Fisher' s Island'', for public park, recreational facilities, or other related public purposes, and does agree to pay a purchase price of $212,875.00 for acquisition of said property.
