WHEREAS, MURIEL H. RASH has served as a member of the
Library Board without remuneration, and with selfless dedica-
tion and zealous devotion to duty from January 1, 1961 to
October, 1967, and by her unstinting services, has served the
cause of culture and enlightenment in the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has learned, with deep regret,
of the resignation of said Muriel H. Rash from the Library
Board of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that this resolution be deemed a
formal expression of deep appreciation and grateful recognition,
on behalf of itself, and the citizens and residents of the City
of Miami Beach, for the invaluable services rendered by the
said MURIEL H. RASH to the City of Miami Beach and to its
citizens and residents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a certified and formal copy of this
resolution be transmitted to the said MURIEL H. RASH, as a
further expression of the City Council 's recognition of its
indebtedness to the said MURIEL H. RASH.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of December
1967.
