Resolution 12309 RESOLUTION NO. 12309
WHEREAS, the City is Miami Beach is desirous of leasing
to the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, space in the 900 block
area of Lincoln Road Mall for the installation of a portable
self-service post office unit, said unit to provide all of
the services of a regular post office, with the exception of
the sale of money orders; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best
interest of the City of Miami Beach to lease said space
for the aforesaid purpose; and
WHEREAS, a proposed lease agreement has been prepared
by the United States Government, with the terms of which
the City Council is familiar;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the
City Clerk and Finance Director be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to execute and deliver said lease
agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City of
Miami Beach.
