HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-519 Alley South of 71st Street from Rue Versailles to
Rue Vendome to be paved and where heretofore paved
to be repaved to a width of 20' with a bituminous
wearing surface on an 8" rock base.
As said Alley and Streets are shown on a Plat recorded
in Plat Book 25, Page 60 of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said 71st Street was named and
designated in Ordinance No. 982.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
✓ specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts etc. , and any other ex-
penses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against
each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such Improvement is hereby designated as District H-519 and is
described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on alley
South of 71st Street and lying between Rue Versailles
and Rue Vendome
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-519, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-519.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 3rd DAY OF January, A.D. 1968.
