WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
WW-146 Both sides of 11th Street from Alton Road to
Ocean Drive to be improved with a Whiteway
lighting system of ornamental posts and lamps
250' apart on each side with underground con-
nections for lighting.
As said Road, Street and Drive are shown on Plat
recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 56, Plat Book 2,
Page 81 and Plat Book 7, Page 15 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the in-
spection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimates , the printing and publica-
tion of notices and proceedings , interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for ; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the
cost of such improvement is hereby designated as District WW-146
and is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting
11th Street from Alton Road to Ocean Drive
In estimating the amount to be assessed against abutting property
the City Engineer is hereby directed to apportion to the City such
portion of the total cost as shall bear the same ratio to the total
cost as the length of the street intersections bears to the total
street frontage within the district .
The Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WWal46, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District WW-146.
