WHEi'EAS, Mrs. Alma Tenenbaum was an outstanding citizen of Miami
Beach, and made many significant contributions, both to her community and her
profession; and,
WHEREAS, in the course of her highly successful business career,
Mrs. Tenenbaum attained honors enjoyed byc few women in the real estate field ...
serving as Chairman of the City of Miami Beach Real Estate Examining Board,
President of the Miami Beach Board of Realtors and State President of the
Women' s Council of the Florida Association of Realtors; and,
WHEREAS, she was equally dedicated to civic and charitable work . . .
employing her many-faceted talents and energies for the betterment of the
people of Miami Beach, as well as her fellow Floridians; and,
WHEREAS, Mrs. Tenenbaum exemplified the highest standards of
citizenship and community spirit in every phase of her private and professional
life;
Na!, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Miami Beach
pay fitting tribute to Mrs. Alma R. Tenenbaum for her outstanding contributions
to our city and its people;
AND, FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED that this resolution become part of the
permanent records of the City of Miami Beach and a copy presented to the family
of Mrs. Tenenbaum as a tangible token of our very warm and sincere appreciation.
