RESOLUTION NO. 12342
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
with deep sorrow, records the untimely passing of ARTHUR O'NEILL; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to take particular cognizance
of his lasting contribution to the progress and development of the
City of Miami Beach as a long and most valued member of the Public
Works Department of our City; and
WHEREAS,his personal charm was interwoven with quiet strength,
ability and fineness of feeling for his friends and fellow workers;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Council , on behalf of its
members and the citizens of this City, does hereby extend to this
widow, ANGELINA O'NEILL, its sincerest sympathy and the hope that
the recognition and appreciation of his 17 years of valued devotion
to his duties and to this City may in some measure lighten her
bereavement.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of February, 1968.
