Resolution 12364 RESOLUTION NO. 12364
WHEREAS the South Florida Council , Inc. No. 84 Boy Scouts of
America desires to use the Cypress Room of the Miami Beach Convention
Hall on May 23, 1968; and
WHEREAS the City has heretofore prepared an agreement which has
been accepted by said South Florida Council , Inc. No. 84 Boy Scouts of
America; and
WHEREAS this agreement is deemed in the best interests of the
City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that that agreement dated February 13, 1968,
and signed by Duke Ducoff, Managing Director for the City of Miami Beach,
and Daniel H. Wheatcroft of the South Florida Council , Inc. No. 84
Boy Scouts of America, be and the same is hereby ratified and approved.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of March, 1968.

Dear Mr. Wheatcroft:
The South Florida Council, Inc. No. 84, Boy Scouts of
America will use the Cypress Room of the Miami Beach
Convention Hall on May 23, 1968 for an evening Dinner
Meeting.
The Boy Scouts of America agree to pay the following
charges for the use of this room:
$200 which includes air conditioning and air
conditioning operator, normal janitor service.
Out-of-pocket expense for seating setup.
It is agreed that the rental period shall be from 6:00 P.M.
to 12:00 Midnight. The Boy Scouts will have access to the
Cypress Room during the afternoon for their setup purposes
, at no charge.
If this agreement meets with your approval, please sign
and return three copies of this letter. The additional
copy is for your files.
