Resolution 11749 RESOLUTION NO. 11749
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida
is considering amending Section 5 of Ordinance No. 289, commonly
known as the "Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida", pertain-
ing to the "RE" Multiple Family Use District so that that portion
thereof reading as follows:
"10. Banks, Savings and Loan Associations,
Public Buildings, and Public Utility
Buildings, only upon approval and
permit by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach. "
shall be amended so as to read as follows:
"10. Public Buildings and Public utility
Buildings, only upon approval and
permit by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach. "
and,
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach is fur-
ther considering amending said Ordinance No. 289 by adding to
Section 6 of said ordinance pertaining to the "BAA" Business Use
District as an additional permitted use, the following:
"14. Banks and Savings and Loan Associations,
only upon approval and permit by the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach. "
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a public hearing be and the
same is hereby called to be held on the 16th day of March, 1966,
at 11: 30 A. M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Miami Beach,
Florida, for the consideration of said amendments.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days notice of the time,
place and object of said hearing by public notice thereof, pub-
lished in the Miami Beach Daily Sun, a newspaper of general
circulation in said City.
