Resolution 11762 RESOLUTION NO. 11762
WHEREAS, Jacob Freidus, the Owner of the land hereinafter
described, has offered to sell to the City of Miami Beach for the
benefit of said City and its inhabitants, for a public way, for
the sum of $300.00 in cash, the following described parcel of land
situate in Dade County, Florida, to-wit:
The Easterly fifty (50) feet of Lot seven (7) ,
Block two (2) of Tatum Waterway Subdivision
more particularly described as follows:
Bounded on the east by the easterly line of
Tatum Waterway Drive.
Bounded on the west by the westerly line of
Tatum Waterway Drive produced southerly said
westerly boundary being also parallel to and
fifty (50) feet westerly of the above
described easterly boundary.
Bounded on the south by the southerly line of
the said Lot seven (7) .
Bounded on the north by the southerly line of
Tatum Waterway Drive, the said southerly line
being an arc of a circular curve forming the
southerly terminus of Tatum Waterway Drive.
Containing 0.02 acre more or less.
As said Lot, Block, Subdivision and Drive are
shown on Plat recorded in Plat Book forty-six
(46) , Page two (2) of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best inter-
est of the City and its inhabitants to purchase said land for a
public way, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an agreement to be
executed by the parties, with the terms of which said agreement
the City Council is familiar,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to close the transaction contem-
plated by the terms of said agreement and the disbursing officers
of the City be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
disburse the monies required to be disbursed by the terms of said
agreement, from funds of the City available for such purpose.
