Resolution 12400 RESOLUTION NO. 12400
WHEREAS, the world and all its peoples have sustained
a deep and profound loss in the tragic death of MARTIN LUTHER
KING, and
WHEREAS , the residents and citizens of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, participate in and partake of the universal
feeling of bereavement which engulfs the world in consequence of
his unduly passing, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, desires to express the will of its residents and
citizens,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it hereby expresses
its deep and abiding sympathy to the widow and family of MARTIN
LUTHER KING, and that this Resolution serve as a testimonial to
the belief that MARTIN LUTHER KING ' S accomplishments and con-
tributions to humanity will endure forever.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of April , 1968.
