GREATER MIAMI AND THE BEACHES HOTEL ASSOCIATION MEETING
On May 8, 2003, the Greater Miami and the Beaches Hotel Association held a meeting of
its Miami Beach Hotel members at the Loews Hotel to discuss various issues including,
outdoor entertainment conditional use permit process
Miami-Dade County noise ordinance
and how these issues affect the ongoing sustainability of the local Miami Beach hotel
industry.
The consensus of the members was that a workshop be held with the Miami Beach City
Commission and the representatives from Miami-Dade County to identify the appropriate
balance to maintain the City's quality of life, and sustain the economic viability of the
hospitality industry.
