Resolution 12410 RESOLUTION NO. 12410
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
on March 6, 1968, duly adopted Resolution No. 12367, authorizing
the execution of a contract by and between the State Road
Department of Florida, Metropolitan Dade County, and the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, pertaining to the beautification of the
Julia Tuttle Causeway, and
WHEREAS the said Resolution authorized the said agreement
to provide for an obligation on the part of the City of Miami
Beach to furnish maintenance and irrigation for a designated
portion of said Causeway, and
WHEr,AS the agreement contemplated by the City of
Miami Beach set forth a provision reading as follows:
"Miami Beach will pay for the water utilized
and perform the necessary maintenance to the
s; andards of the Bureau of Public Roads of
the landscaping from the east end of the west
bridge through the entire Alton Road interchange. "
and
WHEREAS said provision was contemplated by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach at the time of adoption of
the said Resolution No. i2367,but
WHERE?'S, to remove any doubt or ambiguity as to the
intention of the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, it is
NOW RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, that the inclusion of the provision in said agreement as
hereinabove set forth, be and the same is hereby approved,
ratified and confirmed, and that the execution and delivery of
said agreement be and the same is hereby also expressly approved,
ratified and confirmed.
