Resolution 12417 RESOLUTION NO. 12417
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
SOUTH FLORIDA COUNCIL, INC. NO. 84 BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA
desires to lease the premises and facilities of the Miami
Beach Convention Hall for the purpose of
Boy Scouts - Scouting Arena - 1969 and 1971
Boy Scouts Exposition - 1970 and 1972
on
November 20 thru 22, 1969 November 18 thru 20, 1971
November 19 thru 21, 1970 November 23 thru 25, 1972
, and
WHEREAS a lease agreement has been prepared by the
Auditorium and Convention Hall Manager and approved as
to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS the City Council has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease
agreement and deems it to be for the best interest of
the City to authorize the execution of the said lease
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and
the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the above tescribed lease agreement
on behalf of the City, and that the Auditorium and
Convention Hall Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of May, 1968.
