Resolution 12422 RESOLUTION NO. 12422
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Miami Beach to
obtain the use of automatic computing machines for the processing
of financial and other data and records, and
WHEREAS , International Business Machines has offered to
lease to the City the necessary equipment on stated terms and con-
ditions including a monthly rental rate of $3, 221. 00, for a period
of one year, subject however to termination upon three months notice
by either party, and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared setting forth
said terms and conditions and other provisions with which the City
Council is familiar,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida that the Mayor and the City Clerk
and Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized to execute
and deliver said agreement for and in the name of the City of Miami
Beach and that the proper City officials and agents be and they are
hereby directed and authorized to fully perform the terms and pro-
visions thereof.
