HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter :
H-525 Sixty Ninth (69th) Street from Indian Creek Drive
to Indian Creek to be paved and where heretofore
paved to be repaved to a width of 56y with a
bituminous wearing surface on a 10" rock base, and
improved on both sides with concrete curb and gutter.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes
and catchbasins
As said Sixty Ninth Street, Indian Creek Drive and
Indian Creek are shown on Plat recorded in Plat Book 9,
Page 14 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
and as said Indian Creek Drive and 69th Street are
named and designated in street naming Ordinances 495
and 232 respectively.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspec-
tion and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices
and proceedings , interest during construction, legal services, ab-
stracts etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in con-
ducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the esti-
mated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such Improvement is hereby designated as District H-525 , and is
described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on 69th
Street and lying between Indian Creek Drive and
Indian Creek.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-525 , and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District H-525 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 15e1DAY OF May, A.D. 1968.
