EXPANSION OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIM SERVICES

~ am pleased to announce that the Police Department will be expanding its Victim Services
by providing an in-house support group for victims of domestic violence. The expanded
service will now include activities on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As you know, this worthwhile effort provides education and awareness as well as emotional
support and guidance to victims of domestic violence. There is no financial impact for the
expanded program as our current Victims Advocate professionals on staffwill now stagger
their work schedules to accommodate the Saturday programs.
Attached, please find a flyer announcing the expanded services. There is no charge for
participation in any of the programs. Please join me in sharing this information with our
community.
