Resolution 12448 RESOLUTION NO. 12448 WHEREAS Charlie Weingarten and Margaret Weingarten, doing business as Miami Beach Bendix Company, whose address is 531-33 Michigan Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida, paid unto the City of Miami Beach, under protest, the sum of $220.00 in 1964-1965 and 1965-1966 as a washing machine distributor; and WHEREAS said Miami Beach Bendix Company was a party Plaintiff in the case of Frank Kaiser, et al. , vs . City of Miami Beach, Case No. 65C-4272 ; and WHEREAS on the 20th day of September, 1966 the Circuit Court did enter a decree declaring the licensing fees of the City of Miami Beach for washing machine distributors unconstitutional ; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Clerk and Finance Director be and she is hereby authorized to pay to Charlie Weingarten and Margaret Weingarten, doing business as Miami Beach Bendix Company, the sum of $220. 00.
