Resolution 12449 RESOLUTION NO. 12449
WHEREAS, the Florida State Board of Health has submitted an invitation
to the City of Miami Beach to participate in the Public Law 660 Sewerage
Construction Grant Program for Fiscal Year 1968-69; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has plans to improve its sewerage outfall
system; and
WHEREAS, the freeholders of the City of Miami Beach have approved a bond
issue of $1 ,000,000 for improvements to the City of Miami Beach's sewerage
outfall system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CIT( COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that it does hereby designate City Manager J. C. Duffield
as the official representative of the City of Miami Beach and hereby submits
an application for a Puolic Law 660 Sewerage Construction brant to improve
the City of Miami Beach's sewerage outfall system.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA that duly certified copies of this resolution be transmitted forthwith
to the Florida State Board of Health having jurisdiction of the matters herein
set forth.
