Resolution 12450 RESOLUTION NO. 12450
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development of the
United States Government requires certain evidence of accomplishments as
a requirement for recertification of the City of Miami Beach's Workable
Program for Community Improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has made significant accomplishments
in community improvement since July I , 1967, the date of the recertification
of the Workable Program for Community Improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it does hereby respectfully request the Department
of Housing and Urban Development to recertify the Workable Program for
Community Improvement developed by the City of Miami Beach.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA that duly certified copies of this resolution be transmitted forth-
with to the several department officials having jurisdiction of the matters
herein set forth.
