Resolution 12462 RESOLUTION NO. 12462
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida desires to cooperate with Miami-Dade
Junior College for the purpose of providing work to
students eligible to participate in the United States
Government College Work-Study Program, and
WHEREAS an Agreement for part-time employment
for Miami-Dade Junior College students as Recreation
Leaders and Police Cadets has been prepared in accordance
with regulations governing the College Work-Study
Program, with the terms of which Agreement the City
Council is familiar, and
WHEREAS it is determined to be in the best interest
of the said City to enter into said Agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and
the City Clerk and Finance Director be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement
for and in behalf of said City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 26th day of June , 1968.
