Resolution 12485 RESOLUTION NO. 12485
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach has beenequested to contract for the use of the
Miami Beach Auditorium and the Convention Halls for the
purposes of presenting boxing and wrestling exhibitions,
shows and contests with one CHRIS DUNDEE, for the time
period commencing December 1, 1968, and terminating on
November 30, 1971, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach is desirous of contracting with CHRIS DUNDEE because
of his favorable services in past years, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney of the City of Miami
Beach has prepared an agreement between the City and said
CHRIS DUNDEE which contains the terms and provisions
approved by the City Council and with which the City Council
is familiar, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest
of the City of Miami Beach to execute this said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor
and the City Clerk and Finance Director be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the said agreement
in the name of and on behalf of the said City of Miami Beach,
Florida.
