Resolution 12486 RESOLUTION NO. 12486
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has heretofore entered into
an Agreement with Moody' s Investors Service, Inc. , wherein Moody' s
was retained as investment counsel for the City of Miami Beach
Employees ' Retirement System; and
WHEREAS, said agreement terminated on the 29th day of June, 1968;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach desires to
renew said agreement for a period of one (1 ) year commencing on the
24th day of July, 1968; and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been prepared retaining said Moody's
Investors Service, Inc. , as investment counsel for a period of one (1 )
year commencing July 24, 1968, and the City Council is familiar with
the terms and provisions of said Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach deems it
to be in the best interest of the City of Miami Beach, its citizens
and residents, that said Agreement be executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk-
Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said Agreement for and in behalf of the City of Miami Beach,
and the appropriate financial and disbursing officials of the City
of Miami Beach be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
pay and disburse the sum or sums set forth in said Agreement.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 24th day of July, 1968.
