Resolution 12494 RESOLUTION NO, 12494
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the Clerk
and Inspectors who conducted the Primary Election held on
July 30, 1968, for the purpose of electing a Regular Employee
from Group 2 of the City Employees to serve on the Personnel
Board, pursuant to the provisions of the Civil Service Act, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has canvassed said returns
and certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it hereby adopts the said
Certificate as the result of said Primary Election, and does
hereby declare the Regular Employee from Group 2 elected to the
Personnel Board to represent City Employees in Group 2 to be
as follows:
GROUP 2:
Mr. Glenn M. Jones (Elected by 64 votes out of
96 votes cast, being a clear
majority at the Primary
Election.)
Term expires July 31 , 1971 .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 31st day of July, 1968.
