Resolution 11777 RESOLUTION NO. 11777
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida deems it to be necessary for the welfare of said City
and the inhabitants thereof, to acquire for public highway pur-
poses portions of the following described parcels of land
situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida,
to wit:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 9, 10 and 11, Block 2, of
Second Ocean Front Subdivision, accord-
ing to the Plat thereof, as recorded in
Plat Book 28, Page 28, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida;
and
Bath Club Property, Tract 3, according to
the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat
Book 40, Page 14, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
The portions so required and being the
subject matter of this Resolution being
shown by the maps on file in the City
Engineer's office pertaining to the
widening of Collins Avenue northward of
54th Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that it is necessary that the fee
simple title to the above described property be acquired for
use and maintenance for the benefit of said City and its
inhabitants, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary legal
proceedings in the name of said City in the exercise of the
right of eminent domain for the condemnation of said parcels
for said purposes.
