COMMUNITY MEETING ON TRANSIT MODES

Notices for the first community meeting on transit modes to be conducted by our
consultant, HDR, were sent out today through a vadety of sources.
The initial notices made reference to a light rail meeting, which was incorrect and
immediately addressed as soon as we became aware of the reference. The e-mail below
is one contact made regarding the corrected notice. We have made every effort to correct
the notices to reflect that the meeting and study is focused on transit in general and not
one particular mode.
I have instructed both the consultant and my staff that the study is to be conducted in an
unbiased manner. The administration will not direct the consultant to a conclusion.
Please let me know if you have any questions on the meeting or direction of the study.
