Resolution 11781 RESOLUTION NO. 11781
WHEREAS the University of Miami, a Florida corporation,
has requested the City to lease unto it certain docking facili-
ties located in the vicinity of the City shops for the use of
the vessel known as the auxiliary ketch "ARGOSY" , and
WHEREAS the City Council deems it to be for the best in-
terests of the residents and citizens of the City of Miami
Beach that such Lease be entered into, and
WHEREAS the City Attorney has prepared an appropriate
Lease Agreement setting forth the terms and provisions of said
Lease with which the City Council is familiar,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the said Lease Agreement with the said University of Miami for
and in the name of the City of Miami Beach.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of March, 1966.
