Resolution 11789 RESOLUTION NO. 11789
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA that Resolution No. 11775 calling for a Special Election
to be held in the City of Miami Beach, Florida on the 24th day of
May, 1966 be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Resolution No. 11775 be and the
same is hereby amended by adding immediately after
Paragraph (10) thereof the following:
" (11) Shall Chapter 18691, Acts of Florida, 1937, be-
ing a part of the Charter of the City of Miami Beach,
be amended so as to increase the pension benefits to
members of the City Pension Fund for Officers and Em-
ployees of the City of Miami Beach, providing such in-
creased benefits shall be defrayed solely from funds
accruing as a result of permissible increased types of
investments and 30 year funding policy?"
SECTION 2: That Section 4 of Resolution No. 11775 be and the
same is hereby amended by adding immediately after
Paragraph (10) thereof the following:
" (11) Shall Chapter 18691, Acts of Florida, 1937, be-
ing a part of the Charter of the City of Miami Beach,
be amended so as to increase the pension benefits to
members of the City Pension Fund for Officers and Em-
ployees of the City of Miami Beach, providing such in-
creased benefits shall be defrayed solely from funds
accruing as a result of permissible increased types of
investments and 30 year funding policy?"
SECTION 3: That Section 8 of Resolution No. 11775 be and the
same is hereby amended by adding immediately after
Paragraph (10) thereof the following:

be amended so as to increase the pension benefits to
members of the City Pension Fund for Officers and Em-
ployees of the City of Miami Beach, providing such in-

SECTION 4: That Section 9 of said Resolution No. 11775 be and
the same is hereby amended by adding at the end
thereof the following:
