Resolution 11797 RESOLUTION NO. 11797 WHEREAS, Clifford Roberts, a Lifeguard in the Beach Patrol of the City of Miami Beach suffered a compensable injury while employed on August 1, 1964, and WHEREAS the said Clifford Roberts has been discharged by the City furnished Neurosurgeon and is attempting to rehabili- tate himself by returning to his employment as a lifeguard for the City, and WHEREAS the said Clifford Roberts, through his attorney, has offered to settle the said Clifford Roberts disability claim at a sum equal to 122/ disability of the body as a whole, which amounts to a lump sum of $1, 837.50, together with a fee for his attorney in the amount of $475.00, and WHEREAS the City Attorney has recommended entering into a Stipulation for such settlement, and WHEREAS it is deemed to be in the best interests of the employee and of the City of Miami Beach to settle such claim, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the City Attorney be and he is hereby directed to enter into a settlement of the Workmen's Compensation Disability Claim of the said Clifford Roberts in accordance with the terms set forth above.
