RESOLUTION NO. 11803
WHEREAS it has become apparent to the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida that Arthur Godfrey Road, which
road connects the eastern terminus of the Julia Tuttle Causeway
with Collins Avenue (State Road A-1-A) should, by virtue of the
fact that both the Julia Tuttle Causeway and Collins Avenue are
Primary State Roads, be included in the State Primary Road
System;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Metropolitan Dade
County Commission be and it is hereby respectfully requested to
approve the inclusion of Arthur Godfrey Road in the State
Primary Road System and to request the State Road Board to des-
ignate the said Arthur Godfrey Road a Primary State Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
resolution be transmitted to the Mayor and each member of the
Metropolitan Dade County Commission.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 8th day of April, 1966.
