Resolution 11817 RESOLUTION NO. 11817
WHEREAS Lucy Katz Mesce, formerly Lucy Katz, and Gerald
Daniels, the owners of the land hereinafter described, have
offered to sell to the City of Miami Beach for the benefit of
said City and its inhabitants, for off-street parking purposes,
for the sum of $27, 000.00, the following described parcel of
land situate in Dade County, Florida, to-wit:
Lot 3 in Block 78 of OCEAN BEACH ADDI-
TION NO. THREE, according to the Plat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 2, at
Page 61 of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida; also known as 136
Meridian Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida.
WHEREAS the City Council deems it to be to the best inter-
est of the City and its inhabitants to purchase said land for
off-street parking purposes, and
WHEREAS the City Attorney has prepared an Agreement to be
executed by the parties, with the terms of which said agreement
the City Council is familiar,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to close the transaction contem-
plated by the terms of said agreement and the disbursing
officers of the City be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to disburse the monies required to be disbursed by the
terms of said agreement, from funds of the City available for
such purpose.
