Resolution 11819 RESOLUTION NO. 11819 WHEREAS the City of Miami Beach has been successful in ob- taining the establishment of a State Highway Patrol Substation for drivers ' license examinations, and related purposes within the corporate limits of the City of Miami Beach, and WHEREAS the location of said State Highway Patrol Substa- tion within the corporate limits of the City of Miami Beach will be an immeasurable convenience to the citizens and resi- dents of the City of Miami Beach and its neighboring communi- ties, and in other ways will be a substantial benefit to the City, its citizens and residents, and WHEREAS the achievement of this objective has been greatly facilitated by the determined diligence and the tireless efforts of the Honorable Robert M. Haverfield, State Senator, who worked in conjunction with Captains C. C. Reynolds, W. A. Stevens and Sergeant Don O'Neal, of the Florida Highway Patrol, together with leading citizens of the community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that it does hereby formally express its sense of deep appreciation to the Honorable Robert M. Haverfield, State Senator, Captains C. C. Reynolds, W. A. Stevens and Sergeant Don O'Neal of the Florida Highway Patrol, and said citizens of the community for their successful efforts in procuring the establishment of said Substation within the corporate limits of the City of Miami Beach. PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of April, 1966.
