Resolution 12529 RESOLUTION NO. 12529
WHEREAS the OPTIMIST CLUB OF IVES ESTATES
has requested the City of Miami Beach to renew its
lease with the City of Miami Beach for a portion of
the property owned by the said City in the unincorporated
area of Dade County and commonly known as the City Ojus
Dump Property) for recreational purposes by the youth,
and other groups in the area, for a period of one year
commencing September 20, 1968, upon the same terms and
conditions as the existing lease; and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach deems it to be for the best interest of the City
that such lease be renewed for said one-year period,
upon the same terms and conditions as the lease now in
existence;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that
it does hereby authorize and approve the renewal of
said lease, commencing September 20, 1968, with the said
Optimist Club of Ives Estates for and in the name of the
City of Miami Beach.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of September,
1968.
