Resolution 11860 RESOLUTION NO. 11860
WHEREAS the United States of America is the Lessee of that
certain Lease NOy(R) -55357, dated September 5, 1958, covering
use of a portion of city-owned wharf for berthing Reserve
Training Ship USS THRUSH (MCS-204) , Miami Beach, Florida; and
WHEREAS the United States of America has exercised its
right of renewal of the said Lease for the period beginning
July 1, 1966 and ending June 30, 1967; and
WHEREAS the United States of America has complied with all
the terms and provisions of said Lease; and
WHEREAS the City Council deems it to be in the best inter-
est of the City of Mian i Beach that said renewal be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the extension of said
Lease for the period July 1, 1966 to June 30, 1967 be and it is
hereby authorized and approved.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of June, 1966.
