Resolution 11864 RESOLUTION NO. 11864
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly
known as the "Zoning Ordinance of City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a part thereof,
so as to exclude from the "RE" Multiple Family District, and
to include in the "BAA" Business District, as said districts
are set forth and defined in said ordinance, those certain
parcels of land situate in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida,
and described as follows, to wit:
Lot 4 of Block 3, ORCHARD SUBDIVISION NO. 4,
according to the plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 25, at page 30 of the public
records of Dade County, Florida;
AND
A southerly portion of Lot 5, Block 3, ORCHARD
SUBDIVISION NO. 4, according to the plat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 25, at page
30 of the public records of Dade County,
Florida, being more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of said Lot 5,
Block 3, run northerly along the easterly line of
said Lot 5, Block 3 of said subdivision, or the
westerly line of Pine Tree Drive, a distance of
32 .19 feet to a point; thence run along a line
deflecting 93°36' to the left, said line passing
through a point 5.0 feet distant northerly from
the northerly corner of a Transformer Vault on the
northerly side of the bank building of JEFFERSON
NATIONAL BANK OF MIAMI BEACH, a distance of 144. 68
feet to a point on the easterly line of Lot 3, Block
3 of said subdivision; thence run southerly along a
line deflecting 90°00' to the left, along the divid-
ing line between said Lot 5 and Lot 3, Block 3 of said
subdivision, a distance of 23.15 feet to the north-
west corner of Lot 4, Block 3 of said subdivision;
thence run easterly, along a line deflecting 86°24'
to the left, along the dividing line between said
Lots 4 and 5, a distance of 142.94 feet to the Point
of Beginning of the parcel of land herein described,
said Lot 4 and above described parcel together
containing 0. 305 acres, more or less.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing
be and the same is hereby called to be held on the 20th day
of July, 1966, at 11:00 o,'clock A. M. in the Council Chambers ,

City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of
said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
he is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice
of the time, place and object of said hearing by public
notice thereof, published in the Miami Beach Daily Sun, a
newspaper of general circulation in said City.
